Hi,
I just went to see a medium/clairvoyant today and she said that my child is very psychic (8 months old). She wasn’t sure if she was a crystal or rainbow child, but she was sure that she was among the children being born with these gifts. I”m just wondering what advice you might have for me. Thanks!

Sure, I can recommend some great authors I feel you would enjoy. Doreen Virtue writes a lot about the Crystal Children, and another author, Dr. Meg Blackburn Losey writes about the Children of Now, which I feel would give you a comprehensive overview or the whole “new children” scene. Since I don’t like to label kids, but rather watch their unfolding talents, you won’t know more about your daughter until she is toddling and starting to look up and see what is around her.

The suggestions for authors Caron recommends are superb ones. I have read just about every one of Doreen’s books as well as Dr. Meg’s books. I also have children who fit into each of the categories these women describe, but as Caron says, it can become a bit daunting to the parent as we try to “figure out” what our kids abilities are.
When my son Caden (whom I write about a lot here on the blog) was 4, I also had a reading done at a New Age fair in Nashville and the medium gave me information about Caden that blew my socks off. I was already aware of his abilities to see colors and his healing, energetic touch, but what she said about my son caused me to spend the next few years trying to figure out how to help this child develop his gifts. Today, three years later, I realize he will lead me and all I need to do is tune in and follow “his” guidance. Make sense? All I am trying to suggest is we can become absorbed in what other people tell us when in fact our children will guide us toward what they need…
